I still use my wrist visit today and has help me heal & support my wrist thanks
First one we purchased lasted longest
They do seem to help with pain and also for support.bought 5 of them now and wish they lasted longer
Great for other wrist pain
This brace is so great without getting in my way. I bought it before diagnosis, while waiting for the hand surgeons appt. the other brace I have is good but my hand can’t breathe and it gets wet if ai am trying to wash dishes and things. This is compact and allows me to do life while having support. The doctor was happy I had found this brace as well. Turns out my wrist pain is tendontitis not TFCC. But This is still my go to brace. I do sometimes put a thin t-shirt material in between the brace and my skin because the brace can be a little scratchy.
Always there for me
1st got wrist widget after mountain bike accedent and injured both wrists... As a professional drummer I was devastated. Though I greatly had to alter my performing schedule the wrist widget helped so much... My physical therapist was also glad I had them as I went thru the long road to recovery. Since then they have one has lived in my 1st aid kit and one in my car... Fast forward about 8 years to yesterday and I have strained one of my wrists while playimg in the studio... I got the wrist widget back out and the support is amazing... It is a good remider to take it slow and really think about my wrist position when using my hand. I cut the cuff off a sock and waer it between my skin and the widget for comfort and to keep the strap from absorbing too much sweat. My hands and wrists are my livelihood as well integral part to my hobbies of rock climbing, painting and carpentry.
Has allowed me to climb with a tfcc tear
It doesn’t fix the tear but provides me enough support where I can still send hard af
Love my wrist widgets, they have saved my wrist by providing the addition support needed when doing a lot of handstand drills. They are easy to put on and take off and easy to wash.
Wrist widget 2.0
This is my second wrist widget. I wore the first one to death And washed it in the washing machine (oops!) so needed another spanking new one. Very happy with how it helps with certain tasks. Still a long road of healing to go but happy to have this brace as part of the process.
Not worth the money
The item was very hard to figure out how to put on. Once on it was irritating to the skin because of the Velcro. I bought two so I could leave one at work. Money I wish I could get back.

very helpful for golf
experience tendon issues from Madelung's Deformity and has been very helpful during workout, travel and golf. Would recommend
Did not help at all. Made it hurt worse. It was uncomfortable. Did not stay in place. In order for it to be even a little bit helpful, it had to be super tight which then cut my circulation off and caused more pain.
I'm sorry you did not find relief with the WristWidget®. I wish you would have reached out to us. If it caused pain -then you have more than a TFCC injury. Please read this article: https://www.wristwidget.com/blogs/blog-archive/could-this-be-an-ecu-injury-instead-of-a-tfcc-tear If your injury was only a TFCC tear, you would feel immediate relief. Our goal is a healed wrist. --DeAnne firstname.lastname@example.org
Our athletes LOVE the widget.
We have seen so much improvement with wrist pain since introducing the wrist widgets.
Helpful brace that is fairly minimal
I've been using it for awhile now while undergoing PT for an overuse wrist injury. It helps to support during daily activities and is fairly comfortable.
This brace was the only thing that helped me heal a wrist injury, it provided support exactly where I needed and allowed me to complete every day tasks without pain. I found that the velcro did wear after a few weeks of use and I did have to remove it to give my skin a break periodically but I am very grateful for the product
10/10. I need 2 more. :)
helps relieve pain
After being diagnosed with Ulnar Impaction Syndrome, my doctor recommended that I use the Wrist Widget and I have since been able to get back to golfing, I also wear it at night so that I don't wake up due to discomfort.
Strength and Confidence
I had 6 months of PT after breaking my distant radial among other bones in my wrist. On one of my last visits my PT recommended the WristWidget and wow yes, it's been impressively helpful. It gives me support as I lift weights in an attempt to get my full strength back. It also gives me confidence lifting even basic household items. Best of all, my PT told me it will be useful for up to two years after the break. I am one of the users who had the slipping problem. But now that I wrap my wrist in tape before putting on the Wrist Widget, it does not slip. I'm happy to report that problem was easy to solve.
Didn't help me at all
I had followed the assessment guides and some advice from a physio to give the WristWidget a go and it seemed likely I had some kind of TFCC strain. I actually found the fit of the WristWidget to be a a bit uncomfortable. In active use, I also found that rather than offering me a sense of increased stability, I had a increased pain so stopped using it pretty quickly. I continue to work with a physio on finding a solution to my outer wrist issues but sadly the widget didn't help.
Thank you for your honest feedback. As you've learned TFCC and ECU issues can be difficult to distinguish. If you found the WristWidget to be painful, it sounds like are likely to have an ECU injury. The WristWidget does not cause pain with TFCC injuries. You can learn more here: https://www.wristwidget.com/blogs/blog-archive/could-this-be-an-ecu-injury-instead-of-a-tfcc-tear Fortunately, the WristWidget is guaranteed and we're happy to issue a refund with its return. Post wrist surgery it helps a lot
Positive, the wrist widget provides me with a real and perceived sense of stability. I had SLAC wrist reconstruction 7 years ago. It was recommended by my surgeon a couple of years post surgery to try this product. It works for me to this day.
Overall the wrist widget is a FANTASTIC product. My TFCC tear is painfully limiting and also excruciatingly painful without the support of the brace itself. With it on, I am able to do most things with the exception of supination of palm in any arm position, in both weight bearing and non-weight bearing situations. My only issue with the brace is that after a relatively short time, the Velcro fades/lifts, causing the, “hold” to fail and the brace subsequently releases/opens, rendering it useless for the moment, and necessitating an attempt at re-velcroing back on. A quick fix for a while has been to snip the lifted fibers to allow the Velcro to stick for another month or two. Overall, what a great product! Thank you for designing this to help so many sufferers of wrist/TFCC injuries.
I had surgery for a torn TFCC and have limited rotation of my wrist. The WW helps stabilize my wrist and minimize pain. This is my second purchase.
