Simple yet so effective!
My physiotherapist recommended I purchase a WristWidget and I'm happy I listened! I wasn't able to swing a golf club without pain and instability but now I'm golfing several times a week with the WristWidget. It also provides great support while doing work around the yard. It's sturdy, comfortable and easy to maintain. I highly recommend for those who need it!
Better than I expected. Dr. recommended, so I was sure it would fix/cure my sore wrist, but, pain free in only a week. Will continue use, as Dr. directed (only when playing golf & woodworking hobby), for a few more months.
Experience with wrist widget
The Wrist Widget did not work for me. It did not provide enough stability to prevent pain when moving my wrist. Information on your web page was helpful and did resolve the issue of the Wrist Widget sliding out of position. My therapist ended up making me a brace which add stability to my wrist but still in pain and not healed.
Thank you for your honest feedback. I'm happy that you were able to stop the sliding. However, I'm not happy that you're still in pain. Our goal is a healed wrist. I'd like to know more about your wrist injury. Would you please complete an injury assessment (https://bit.ly/ww-injury) for us? Let's see if we can't get it feeling better for you. Our team has nearly 40 years of experience working with wrist injuries. We're here to help!
Only had the WristWidget about 10 days now, feeling better
Healing is underway, but I'm not yet 100%. I'm wearing it most of the day, and cinch it up a bit when playing tennis, and it's pretty pain free--just a bit sore for a few hours after tennis. A month ago, it was painful to play tennis, or to move my wrist afterwards. It is still painful if I play catch with a baseball with my son, unless I pronate my wrist. Throwing a baseball was never painful to me before my TFCC injury. Before getting the WristWidget, I did use sports tape as suggested below and above the Ulna bone, and found it did help. But it wasn't convenient or comfortable, and the adhesive eventually irritates my skin, so the WristWidget is definitely worth getting.
Skeptical at first, quite amazed that it works and my wrist don't hurt that much compared to the past.
went for tfcc debridement (right) surgery in 2014 but never felt back to normal or comfortable. now also using it on left wrist due to pains when turning doorknobs and some weight lifting exercises. bought 2 wristwidgets for tennis and gym ever since and it has made exercise more painless, although my right wrist feels alright on some days and i don’t use it. Bought the narrow version this time and it does not slip down over the ulnar bone as much as the original version.
It has been fabulous in assisting with the rehabilitation of my wrist that I injured in a front on auto collision. I had been receiving chiropractic adjustments that were simply not helping. I found a physical therapist who recommends the Wrist Widget as a temporary device to assist in the healing and rehab of wrist injuries. As soon as I put it on I experienced a huge difference in pain reduction overall especially with assisting with repetitive movement. The ability to pick up weighted objects and to move and flex my wrist in a variety of positions. It continues to be a valued part of my rehab that I am so appreciative of.
Immensely helpful in continuing activities using the wrist. Stabilises the area and allows movement and range of motion. I wear it basically all the time, don't notice any restriction, have less pain and more confidence in my wrist. I don't have a diagnosed TFCC tear, but some of the symptoms are consistent with my wrist, so I use this to hedge my bets. In all cases, my wrist feels better when I wear it
Best customer service ever!
This company really cares about your wrist! Such personalized care and a genuine concern for your health. My OT recommended this product and it has been very effective for my ulnar pain. I highly recommend this product because the folks that sell it are amazing!
WristWidget was recommended by my Orthopaedic Specialist as I had a fall recently and suspected to sustain a TFCC injury. They do not carry this product and told me to get it online. When wearing WristWidget, my wrist hurts much lesser when pressure is applied on it. I can let my wrist recover slowly and naturally while I wear this.
Best device, the Wrist Widget, is the simplest solution.
This is a remarkable yet simple device. As a physician that treats injuries from motor vehicle accidents, I recommend the Wrist Widget early on when a patient has symptoms of a triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) tear and have found it keeps our patients out of surgery much more often than not.
Thank you for your kind WristWidget review. But most importantly, thank you for helping to heal TFCC tears without surgery. <3
Review of WristWidget
I am very glad I purchased the WristWidget as it has helped with my pain and keeping everything in place and secure as I'm a very active person and using my wrist/hand constantly. I don't believe that it has helped in the healing process but I understand this type of injury can take 4-6 months to heal.
Working musician ****** enough to play football! Snapped radius and ulna, dislocated wrist and major cartilage damage. One big chunk of metal in my wrist and numerous injections later, still needed a wrist support day-to-day but couldn’t play a guitar with one on and too painful without. Stumbled on this on Amazon and tried it out. Absolute miracle! It’s strong enough to keep my wrist stable while I’m playing but small enough that it’s not in the way and my hand is totally clear for muting. Recommended to others with tendinitis, carpal tunnel etc and they’re all playing much more comfortably. I can not recommend this highly enough! I’ve even started bouldering now thanks to this thing.
exactly as advertised
does a great job at bolstering the strength of my wrist despite a torn tfcc and reducing pain. i still do pop the tendon, but no solution is going to be perfect other than doing my PT and waiting for it to heal. that said, with some tightening ive been able to do some light-medium climbing pain free. worth every cent because taping just wasnt cutting it.
Immediate relief. I can keep doing things without pain.
I have had wrist issues
I have had wrist issues and with the wristwidget I am able to work and play sports
The Wrist Widget is a vod send for me and allows me to continue golfing
Quick and easy relief from wrist pain.
My physical therapist recommended the Wrist Widget to relieve the pain from a partial torn ligament in my right wrist. The pain has significantly reduced, I feel much less discomfort and fewer sharp jabs. Definitely happy with my purchase.
The wrist widget has allowed me to return to playing golf following an ulna - carpal ligament injury. The unique design offers very effective support without bulky limitations. I intend to keep wearing it indefinitely to prevent reinjuring my wrist. This product is awesome. Thank you.
The wrist widget works well and the customer service is awesome!
